_DSC2800-Edit The clouds ruled the skies over Banff National Park on this shooting day with only occasional rays of sun burning through to feather the mountains. I watched these peaks as the clouds rolled over, and off them again, until finally, these laser beams of sun came burning through to light up the snow-capped Rockies.

_DSC2170 Strolling the streets of Banff, Alberta on this April evening, the elk were grazing freely from the lawns of the downtown establishments, completely oblivious to the locals and tourists who were fascinated by them. This one only took a break from feeding long enough for me to snap this shot.

_DSC2253-Edit While attending the Canadian Image Conference in Canmore, Alberta, a brief stroll across the road from the Inn I was staying in led us to this remarkable view of Mount Rundle reflecting in the creek that runs through the centre of town on it's way to the Bow River. Not a bad view for downtown in any town.
